We had the same problem with our coach with the smell making my wife sick for two weeks. We had everything checked and could not find the problem until we found out that our coach batteries heated up so much that all of the fluid had turn into a gas which came into the rear area of our coach. The batteries were replaced and we had no more smell.Check your batteries for fluid.

We just got back from our maiden voyage and also experienced the "rotten egg smell". On our last day we started smelling a sulfur smell that we thought was coming from our kitchen sink.
After we got home we determined the smell was actually coming from the steps which is right by the kitchen sink. Turns out both our coach batteries boiled dry, once the step was off it was clear this smell is the batteries.

We are calling the dealer today, and my husband thinks it is possible they are being overcharged.

We are starting to lose faith in the Dimensions Inverter/Charger. The coach is under warranty and the batteries will be replaced. So far the Dimensions I/C and associated circuits have overloaded a 20Amp circuit causing the breaker to trip, allowed the batteries to discharge to 1.2 volts and boiled some of the liquid out of the batteries.

Is this unit prone to failure or a weak link in the overall coach. If so we are thinking about changing it to a Xantrex RS 2000 or 3000.

The Dimensions charger was overcharging the house batteries on our 2004 Journey 32T. What we do now is set the charger draw to the 5AMP level using the remote panel. Charger now goes to the float state very quickly and the charge voltage is about 13.2 volts.
