Removal of recliner/sofa 2014 Itasca Suncruiser 37F
I have a 2014 Itasca Suncruiser 37F. I am going to remove the Flexsteel recliner/sofa for a Qualities Dr Leon RV double recliner with drop down. I have looked high and low on this site for assistance on removing this particular Flexsteel recliner/sofa. Not having much luck.
If someone can point me to a thread, post, YouTube or personal removal I would appreciate it. I don't want to make a major mistake disassembling from the slide out floor and do damage that you don't see until it's too late when installing the new furniture. It needs to be secured also with the correct screws or bolts.
Thanks

Can’t help but
I have a buddy with an old boat. Depending on where you are he might be interested, if I can talk him into it, your sofa.

This looks a bit like mine. If you pull the foot rest out and examine the release mechanism closely you will find a way of releasing the stool and pulling it out. Once out of the way you can get under the seats and and find the securing attachments and electrical connectors.
Have fun!

I’m hoping pictures of the completed project will be coming soon. I’ve considered removing our table and adding a fireplace in the opening. Please keep us posted.

Ok, new recliner/couch is in and fireplace is in. I hope to upload pictures Monday if I don't run into an issue uploading. There's always gremlins around when you least expect. However the installation on both was easy --- peasy

As promised, I have included pictures of the old sofa and recliner that was taken out. I replaced them with a new recliner/sofa from Shop4Seats. Very pleased with the results. Also put an end table next to recliners.
In addition, I took out the dining table and chairs and replaced it with a Furrion log electric fireplace. I included pictures of the opening and after I boxed it in for the fireplace. both jobs were much easier than I expected.

Since you can only upload so many pictures at a time, one more picture of the finish fireplace.
