Really, really fast truck?

We all are seeing things that are not working very well but one of things I think we should still expect is a bit more honest answers.

This is part of the reason you can't get repairs done when they are promised?

Unless they have changed where I live, I'm thinking this is NOT going to be on time! Even a really fast driver has trouble arriving yesterday!

The really great times that this happens is when you've paid for "overnight" or next day delivery.

If you look at the first Cypress, TX scan - it's after 7am which was likely past the cuttoff time for it to be put on another truck out of there to make delivery on time. No doubt it was held up in Houston's looooong morning rush hour.

I'm not worried about the actual delivery time as it would have made no sense for it to get the 130 miles that quick.
I ordered onlineabout 7:30- 8 at night and they showed it to be delivered the next day. Way faster than I expected for a free shipping deal?

What does irritate me is they showed it on time when it was still in Cypress after8 PM and needs to move 130 miles to get here? It left Cypress at 3 AM on the 20th and they show it expected on the 19th??
Not like it is hung up in a lot of distance or connecting points but why not just tell me the truth that it might take a day or so to get here? The ads say free shipping 1-4 days, so why bother to lie?

Just tell me what to expect, so I can arrange my plans to match.
I have guys wanting to work and all I can tell them is we can't trust what we are told!! They have to turn around and tell the customers that we have no real idea when we get can it fixed!

FedEx has been really iffy here on Whidbey for the last year or so. I cringe every time I order something and it says it's shipping FedEx.
