Random exterior light?

Newbie here with a 2016 Winnebago Adventurer 37f. On the full wall slide (driver's side), there is an exterior light that is sometimes on and sometimes not. We cannot figure out what makes it work. It doesn't appear to be related to the time of day/solar, whether the engine is running, whether any light switch is on or off, etc. What are we missing? It is located approximately behind the refrigeratior or washer/dryer.

Hi Lisa's Pieces 1,
I checked-out your 2016 brochure, and I found a reference to a Driver’s side service light. On page 7-3 of your Owner's Manual, there is a description of a switch labeled Outside Light (the center switch of three switches,) located in the Water Service Center Compartment. It could be that the switch is faulty.
Welcome to the forum.

Eagle5 nailed it. There are three switches in your Water Utility Bay - water pump, level/store and outside light.

WOW!!! I've owned my Itasca Suncruiser 37F for 8 years and learned something about it today. I always assumed that the driver's side exterior light came on with the porch light. Never really had a use for it because of flashlights and compartment lights. It is a little silly, because you have to walk around in the dark to get to the switch.

And, it doesn’t really provide much light. Also, be careful when searching for the correct switch… hit the wrong one and you’ll dump your leveling jacks.

Thank you! That was it! Hubby kept flipping it thinking it was a compartment light. Mystery solved!
