Radio Quit Working Suddenly

The radio in my Travato 59G suddenly went black/stopped working. It is a Pioneer DMH-1500NEX, If anyone else has experienced this and has a potential 'fix' or solution to get it going or reboot/reset it, please reply. I read somewhere that disconnecting the negative lead to the chassis battery for 5 min and then reconnecting may prompt it to go on again. And... I haven't checked the fuse box yet... I think my assumption is that the rig is so new how could a fuse be bad already?

A fuse or loose connector would be my first choice.

You're near Boise, perhaps taking it to an Auto Sound Install shop? When it comes to fixing radio connection issues that's my go to suggestion. And a Travato wouldn't be too difficult for them to work on due to it's B-Van size.
