I setup a reminder on my work calendar (I was bored one day) for reminding people to install a hinge kit on their refrigerator if they have not already done so (before it's too late).
There has been plenty of discussion about them so you can search for that, but I'm just tring to save at least one person the hassles (and potential dollars) that come along with not doing something about it!!!

It cost us a new door and others just a bit of epoxy but the consensus is GET THE HINGE KIT or make your own support.
