New production delayed!
Ordered a new 22M Minnie Winnie in July for January 2022 delivery which has now been pushed to an April or May delivery. Bummed over this !

Hi Nebraskan,
We know that the supply lines are being affected, so while it doesn't surprise me, perhaps it will be for the best. You may end-up with a better built 22M, because everyone just might not need to be in such a rush to get your 22M out the door.
In the mean time, you can read posts about 22Ms here on this forum. My projects can be found by clicking here, then selecting <Statistics> and then <Find all threads started by Eagle5>. You can also just search for 22M a la carte, for other threads of interest.
Dude! You're getting a Godzilla!

Took the tour when I was in Forest City this summer at the winnebago factory awaiting repair. They showed on the tour , acres of completed coaches that were awaiting parts from venders that winnebago doesn't make. Found out that winnebago makes 80% of parts needed to make their units. With my front replacement there were few parts that came from others. Most will have to be put into production at winnebago , front fiberglass cap , they have mold in their warehouse , metal brackets made in their steel building , etc. Lights and gen front ,will have to be others. If this coach was another brand the parts that I need might not be found or put into production as they did. If this coach builder was out of business or asorbed my others, I might not of been able to get parts.

Another update ! Our 22M delivery date has been moved again to early summer. Rv’s have been placed on low priority for the computer chips used in the Godzilla engine.

Maybe it is time to consider buying a used RV and saving many thousands of dollars in the process.

New update on ordered Winnie 22M
We were notified that our Winnie 22M 350 is back ordered as they will be using the 450 chassis at additional cost. The delivery is now the end of Mayor early June. If we had decided to stay with the 350 chassis we would move back to square one with an unknown delivery!
Interesting times we are in.

You'll be glad you got the E450 chassis. That's the way to go. Plus, when you sell your rig later on (we all sell sometime) it will bring more money.
May or June isn't that far away. We're actively planning a May trip right now and it's just around the corner.

Delayed Production of new Sunstar
Similar experience...we ordered a new Sunstar in November 2021 and were told to expect delivery in mid to late March...now we're looking at October to November 2022 if we're "lucky"... apparently around 48 weeks is the approximate norm right now per high level industry sources.

Very sorry to hear that you had to give up your order after the long wait, we placed an order for 22R in late Sep 2021, now still patiently waiting, the latest I was told is around late Oct after couple extended delays... it is just crazy.

We cancelled our order, too. Found a 2020 identically equipped plus having Sumos , Safe-T-Plus, Perma Plate paint protection, and Tyron run-flat tire system, with only 3,800 miles on it for $40,000 less.... they're out there, you just have to be diligent in finding a good deal. Really not the dealer's fault these days, (except when they fail to tell you about a $5,000 price increase and you have to find that out on your own), but I don't have a lot of sympathy for them when they've been jacking prices up in a hot market...their slow days will return.
Good luck, you'll find another unit and be happy, I have no doubt.
