Never Assume!!

So we just purchased a 2007 Journey 36G.
Not having time to check the operation of the ice maker I raised the bar on the ice maker assuming it would put it out of service. That evening around 230am I heard what sounded like water dripping in the kitchen. I found the entire floor area and part of the carpet saturated. When I realized the water was coming from the freezer area i opened the door and a wave of water shot out! I was drenched from my chest down with ice cold water! I wish we had a security camera to capture this moment. I let out a scream and my wife came running thinking someone broke in the trailer.
So several days have passed and everything is back to normal.
Moral of the story is Never Assume!!

Sorry to hear. Water can be a hard item to clean up needless to say and shocking to the system at 2am. Good luck make sure you have everything dry carpet and wood.
