We found the bracket in our Operator's Manual briefcase during PDI, but didn't know what it was and neither did our dealer. We've kept it, but screwed the license plate directly into the fiberglass on the lower valance on the front cap.

We drove over a year without a front plate but in doing traveling on the East Coast found it necessary for some Toll Roads. (We have full compliment of Toll Tags but some only use front plate for ID)

I wish I had known, but what's done is done.
