Inverter (Reset) 2001 Winnebago Adventurer 35U

Good afternoon forum,

I have a 2001 Winnebago Adventurer 35U the inverter above the cabin used for tv/dvd/vcr electronics has power but the reset/gfci switch is not allowing me to reset. Anyone know if these switches go bad or does the whole unit needs replacing?

Different reasons may be at play here, so maybe look further if not already done??
Have you checked that there is not a reason for it kicking out? Some fault in th eline going out that would make it not reset? Maybe disconnect the line going out from it and see if it then will rest,if not done?
But then it is also true that GFCI do get funky and not hold when there IS no problem, so it may need to have the GFCi replaced.

So now I've moved you from having one problem to having two ? Sorry bout that!

Yep, ground fault here

This is my 2nd post in a forum. But what you described happened to me, it was the GFI .
I also listed a question on an my inverter. It must be catching... Jack Darnell in a 2005 36 Adventurer...

Old GFCI's are prone to tripping, the new standard I believe 2013ish are a much better solid design. Replace and if it keeps tripping then you have a real issue. Be sure you install it correctly or they will trip. Sorry, just saw you fixed it!
