I might be a Winnebago Owner!!

I will find out on Tuesday of next week, if I won a bid on a Class C 2007 Winnebago Aspect 26A through an auction service for repos. This will be my first RV and if I win the bid, I do believe I made a wise choice as Winnebago's have a superb reputation and resale value.

Since I'm not getting this from a dealer or owner that could walk me through and educate me on the unit, where might I get that kind of education? Since I've never owned one before I am not familiar with the lingo, how things work, etc. As far as driving the unit, I did find some RV driving schools that I may look into.

Thank you in advance for your input.

We wish you the best of luck with your bid for the Winnebago. This site has a tremendous amount of information if you search the different forums. It also is full of very helpful and experienced people who seem to be all too happy to help...especially new comers!

Again, good luck and safe travels!

Did you or someone knowledgeable with rv's check the unit prior to bidding? Things I would look for would be:
Do all the appliances work including refer (on gas and electric), A/C, furnace, water pump, etc.

Then the chassis...

Good luck with a winning bid.

There are a lot of books and DVDs on getting to know your new RV. Here is a good source, RV Bookstore , many are also available on-line. .

If you do win the bid I hope all is as you desire. Be sure and contact Winnebago and register as a second owner and you might consider joining the Winnebago Itasca travelers (WIT) a travel club sponsored by the factory which has local chapters which meet routinely for campouts and various other activities.

This a great forum and again good luck on your bid.

You can also download the operating manual from Winnebago and read up on your motorhome here:

Sorry you didn't win the Aspect, they are a great motorhome, I know, we have one.
If you come across another one and have specific questions feel free to PM me, I'll be happy to answer any I can.
