Hughes 30 amp Autoformer with a 50 amp motorhome??

I already own a 30 amp Hughes Autoformer to boost voltage that I used on our last motorhome that had a 30 amp cord. I now have a 2009 Journey that now has a 50 amps cord. Would there still be a benefit to use it when I am plugged into a 30 power source?

Can't imagine why not. We have one as well (30 amp hardwired) and plug into to 50 amp service with a dogbone.

The best way might be to hard wire the autoformer on the "leg" that powers the roof air conditioner. Or even just on that particular circuit. The only items that suffer from brown outs are motors.
