Every year we drive I-84 from Newburgh to I-90 (Mass Pike) to I-495 to I-95 to Maine and back. We have a Winnebago Aspect 30J towing a Wrangler. There are a few "hills" but all are certainly manageable. Watch your speed in CT as they change frequently on I-84. Thru Hartford is a bit curvy. I do not recommend taking I-290 thru Wooster as it's very curvy thru Wooster.

Route 1 in Maine is a very pretty drive so, slow down and enjoy the views.
Safe Travels!

A few hills on 84 but nothing challenging. By exit 2 (Eastbound) there is a very nice rest area with a dump. Reins, near exit 65 is a great NY style deli/restaurant. We always stop there.

Hi, have fun on your trip! I've lived in New England for over 20 years. I HIGHLY recommend using an RV navigating app when traveling in New England. In New England they have low clearance bridges that can surprise you. The interstates are fine, but if you're traveling on a back road, they can come up very suddenly. (One bridge I saw in CT was 8'9". Good thing I wasn't towing that day!) Google maps isn't sufficient for tricky RV navigation.

I personally would go up rte.95 all the way.Directions will say rte.95 to rte. 295 back onto rte. 95. Don't use the 295 it is horrible. Stay on rte. 95 ,there is an exit off of rte. 95 that says to Falmouth/Boothbay.take that exit onto rte.1 north until you come to rte 27.That takes you right into booth bay harbor. We travel that rte. any time we go to that area.Hope this helps .Lots to do and see up there,a must do is the Cabbage Island Clambake and cruise.
