How do I get the inside liner out of the cabinet over on the driver's side. I want to get to the outside wall.

I want to install a new CB antenna.

I unscrewed every screw I could find and still can not get it out.

PLEASE HELP

Just a couple of days ago I took a tour of the chassis plant, and recall seeing the steel cab cages both before and after installation on a chassis. I don't think you can remove the sidewall of the overhead cabinets without removing the entire cabinet assembly. Mine does have a small removeable panel around the sat input plate, but I think that's all that can be removed on mine.

I did the same project a couple of months ago and it was a struggle! The fabric covered panels that line that upper cabinet are evidently built as part of a pre-built unit then installed as one piece, then the cabinet face frames and doors are installed afterwards. I was able to cut all around the end piece of panel with a razor knife and then start prying the panel loose gently at both the front and rear ends. Come to find out that the screws that hold the panel in are driven in from the backside. Fortunately they're small screws and you can pry the panel off them without seriously damaging the panel itself.

After you got the inside panel out, were you able to see the outside wall? Looking behind the inside pannel, it looks like there might be part of the interior wall in the way. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes. Once you remove that panel you'll see part of the inerior wall. Underneath that is a thickness of foam insulation, then the fiberglass outer wall. I used a large hole saw to cut away the wall material, then just dug out the foam until I was down to bare fiberglass. You'll have to measure off some exterior reference point (like the window), then measure inside from that point to see exactly where you need to remove the material.

That's the same antenna and mount that I installed, George. I haven't had a chance to get the antenna tuned but it appears to work well - great reception and others can hear me talk. I did add a spring in case the antenna hits a tree branch or something and slid a tennis ball down the shaft where it might come in contact with the side of the motorhome.
