I discovered that Best Buy carries a product that will replace your HDMI cable with wireless. Basically you get a transmitter that hooks up to your source and a receiver unit that hooks to your TV. Very easy to set up. Don't need to mess with cables. A bit pricey...but worth it. A cable cost me about $75, the wireless system was about $150
We have fiberoptic Metronet for TV/internet at home and have the reciever in our basement utiltiy room setup with wireless transmitters to our upstairs bedrooms and the garage TV's. I imagine its the same thing. Signal travels thru 2 floors and never looses signal.
