Fuel Pump replacement P32 chassis

Hello,
I have a 2004 Itasca Sunova 27C P32 Workhorse chassis with the GM 4L85e transmission. Unit has about 74K on it. The engine runs fine, but it looks like the original fuel filter is on it. On my unit, the fuel filter is center located on a cross rail just behind the pumpkin. My question is: has anyone changed a fuel filter located in this position? It is hard to get. Any guidance on the topic is greatly appreciated.
