Foxwell NT301 OBDII Scanner--Seeking Opinions

All,

New owner of a 2020 Winnebago Vista on an F-53 chassis with the V10. Looking for input, feedback, opinions on an OBDII scanner, and particularly the Foxwell NT301 OBDII Scanner if anyone has one of those. I've seen a couple of posts but not too many.

Anyone know if this would be a good choice for a non-mechanic type that just wants to be able to read codes on their Ford? Anyone have input on a better choice in the sub-$100 range?

Certainly am not seeking a professional level unit, mostly just want to know what's going on when warning lights come on, or if there appears to be a mechanical issue that I might think is going on that I might need to address.

All feedback welcomed and appreciated; thank you!

I have never invested in one but have looked them over. Reason for not going that way is much of the info it would give me is going into so many things that I now find I would not understand well enough to fix!
Also I have very few lights come on to warn me, so the few times when it might happen, I plan to drive to one of the parts stores who offer it for free!

The ones which we have had are things that we have learned to check, like when we gas up and the light comes on? We check the gas cap!

If one comes on that has to go to the parts folks to decode, I can at least ask what the heck they are talking about when they referr to the gizmo I've never heard of before! I full admit that I've lost the handle on new ignitions.....
