I own a 27ft 1987 Itasca Sunflyer. I would like to take out the carpet and replace with “Life Proof” plank flooring. Any tips?

Before you decide to go the no-carpet route, check out commercial grade carpet tiles. Mine are from S&G carpet and are 19" or 20" square. I mounted them with double-sided carpet tape.

They're easy to install, low nap, easy to clean, stain resistant and easy on the feet. They're easily replaced if damaged (buy extra). One of the downsides to planking is scratching from grit and dirt under slideouts.
