Floor light bulb

Does anyone know the number of this 14 volt 4 watt bulb for my aisle lighting?
And, Where would I find one?

I had to replace mine a year or so ago and after walking into every auto parts store I could find, I walked out empty handed. No one carries that bulb in that size. I ended up contacting the dealer who stated he had 4 in stock. I bought all 4. The one under the toe kick in the kitchen was a real PITA to get to, let alone replace.

A few years ago I bought these at NAPA auto parts.

If I have to replace mine again I'll go with LED. They have direct replacements in LED and they are cheaper.

Just for information. Those are called festoon bulbs. Search for that term and you'll find what you're looking for.

ok. So, Who was this person Festoon that this style bulb bears that name?

A couple day's ago that was the catch word of the day for me!
I found some on fleebay. 1.44 each but they are 5 watt. 1 watt shouldn't matter. I did learn something about that bulb though.

Dynstrom,
I use GE de3022 festoon lamps.
I get mine from Freddy Meyers. Ims about
$3 for package of 2.
They last longer and are a little brighter than the original lamps that Winnebago sold me for $4.50.

I went through that last year. Almost everyone including a few RV shops said 'Oh a fuse" Me: Nope a light bulb. end of conversation. La Mesa in Tucson had some, but at a rather large price!!

For longevity and low power consumption I installed LEDs. Here are some https://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/festoon/

I replaced mine with this 3-LED bulb: iJDMTOY 3-SMD 29mm 6614F LED Bulbs For Car Sun Visor Vanity Mirror Lights, Warm White

The attached picture shows the LED bulb in the left foreground with the incandescent bulb in the right background. The LED isn't as warm as the incandescent, but I think it will be OK. Since the LED is directional, you can adjust the light level of the LED a bit by rotating it in the socket to point the LEDs in a slightly different direction.

Be aware that many Chinese made, cheap LED's have one way polarity and must be installed correctly or they will fail to light. Many are not well assembled and die much earlier one would hope.

Like a lot of things cheap and quality are not words usually found in the same sentence.
