yea i agree with you on the weight shift but in my case I can't... rv should not lean 2" with 700 too 1000 pouns difference...ford should really beaf up the springs but i assuming that the ride would be harsher...whats your thougts..
I did notice that raising the tire pressure 5 to 10 lbs really makes a difference in the ride... hard!

John:
Since your total weight is so close to the limit of your GVW (most likely tire rating) the next time you buy tires make sure you step up in tire rating allowing you to carry more weight with less tire pressure...and Jill at the Lodge says hello

That's nice Ken - thanks and we miss our smiling Jill in the morning!
When we replace tires (or when I can justify the cost), we will go up to a load Range H tire on the fronts. In fact Winnie went to an "H" for the 2006 model year. We're fine on the rears load-wise.
It might all be a moot point in the future since we have a contract to buy a small ranch in the Texas hill country - we will travel for two or three months at a time instead of fulltiming. We can probably unload a thousand pounds of stuff

John,
I think if you check horses come equipped with their own form of GPS. Theirs does not work with satellites, but rather by some other earthly based system which allows them to always know the direction home and the location of the closest water. However, since they are not to free with sharing their knowledge, the saddle horn mounted GPS maybe your best idea yet. LOL

Well, I just want to update everyone about my leaning/overweight (1000lbs extra rear passenger side) issue on the rear passenger side. My Winnebago Rep notified me last week an authorized payment for the removeal of a 2 inch block which was added to the right (passenger side)rear axle and install one leaf spring. The leaf spring is the proper method to fix leaning issues and weight issues. The block was not wide enough and the spring shop told me that overtime the spring would fail.

Peter,
Glad to see "firm patience" has paid off for you. Sometimes it takes a little nudge to get them to the right place, but in most cases, they eventually get there.
Just keep smiling and stamping your foot!
Best to you and your Brother for a great New Year.
Cheers,
Buck
