Just returned from Winnebago for service. While at Winnebago we drove through Lichtsinn's lot and they have a lot of 2016 models on hand. They have been building 2017 for 4 or 5 months. I think he has all the 2016 because his prices are higher than most other dealers. When we bought a 2014 and he was 18,000 to 20,000 more than we paid.

negotiation is the key to any purchase, I think they are the #1 dealer in the country. I have no sour grapes about the dealers that wanted to charge me more that I negotiated at Lichtsinn. If he has an over supply better for purchasers to negotiate, like any dealer they have to move their inventory.

IMO Buying local is better and often cheaper. I bought my 22R in August of 2015, tried buying from Lichtsinn, but they could or would not meet my local dealers price. Local dealer usually will place you ahead of others if you need service, ahead of those who bought elsware. I bought from Roy Robinson RV, Marysville, WA. Got a great price, only other dealer who beat them was a CA dealer, don't remember who it was off hand though.
