Does this vent look normal?

Was going down a narrow street and brushed a tree limb. Didn't think about it until I got home and was washing the MH and looked at the exterior stove vent and couldn't remember if there was a lower flap in the dark area of the picture below. Anyone know if I'm missing a part?

Do you have any previous pictures of this side of your rig?

Might be a flapper door(damper) missing.

Yes it looks normal. Just like the one on my Vista 27N.

Thanks everyone. I thought it was normal too, but just couldn't remember. Think I'll go out and shoot pictures of my MH from every angle so I have a reference for the future.

Looks like a normal vent from the convection microwave, just like on ours.

Some folks think it flaps too much when driving and use some foam to force it to stay closed. Just remember to remove that foam when you stop.

Watch out for low hanging branches, too.

You're asking if there is a door missing... there may be..

There is a flapper door within that cover that most don’t pay attention because its not obvious. Either way theres not quite enough light in the slot to see for sure

I have that type vent, and always wondered if there is a physical flap in there. Sounds like there is.

Yes there is a flexible flap in there that has the bottom of it glued around something, likely a metal rod, to give it some weight at the bottom. Seems to do the job and it's quiet.
