Our Sightseer didn't come with the defrost fans. I'm looking to install two of them myself. I think ones in black would look better but so far I just find the chrome ones. I thought about looking through the parts catalog for our unit but it also shows a part number for chrome ones. Do any of the Winnebago unit have black ones?

Steve ours are chrome factory installed. They work great when you dont want AC but want some air and defrost the windshield good.

Found black defrost fans at www.schoolbuspartsco.com
Part # DF – 880 is W/O switch
Part # DF - 890 is with switch

There phone number is 1-800-835-6556

Hope this helps,
Todd

Tiffin uses black fans, pretty much identical to the chrome ones in my Suncruiser. If nothing else check with any Tiffin dealership's parts department.

our '99 Adventurer did not come with fans ...

I had them installed at Camping World ... the tech only wanted to install one switch on the dash ... I insisted on two switches ... glad I did ...

The only tricky thing about the installation is getting the wire from the windshield post to the fan location ... the track for the front curtain is a problem as I recall ...

Our current rig has factory installed fans ... we use them a lot ... there is only one control so sometimes co-pilot and I have to compromise a little on whether both OFF, LOW or HIGH ...

My Sightseer does not have these fans and I too would like to add. I see a dash switch for auxiliary fan are they prewired? If so where would I locate the connections, looks like under the center windshield post but don't want to remove if not. I tried to contact a local dealer but have not gotten a response. Txs
