Comfortable sleeping

Just purchased a Winnebago Trend. My son tried sleeping on the pull out dinette benches and he didn't have a restful sleep. I am thinking of purchasing a foam pad to put on top. Anyone have suggestions for what I should use?

Foam pad or futon would likely do the trick. Air mattress may be another option.

our first MH was a 1985 Chieftain and we slept on the converted dinette. we used an eggshell foam pad as a mattress which improved the comfort considerably.

I would also suggest the egg carton style foam pad as well.

A memory foam pad would probably provide the best comfort. Cut it to size with an electric knife. An air mattress would be easier to store but getting one to fit the odd size a dinette is may be problematic.

I agree memory foam will help, but latex would do the best job, unfortunately it costs 2 to 3 times the price of memory foam.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am going to price egg carton and memory foam pads.

Costco

Is a good source of comfortable memory foam toppers...we add them to all of the beds.

When we took our first overnight on our 2016 Vista LX I thought I was sleeping on the bed frame instead of a mattress. We got a 4 inch foam topper from Walmart ~$139 and solved the problem immediately. Now I've gotten them for the drop-down bunk over the driver (XL Twin) and the 2 bunks. A wise investment.

2 or 3 inches of memory foam you can get at Wal-mart will do the trick
