Best generator for 2021 Micro Minni AC

We dry camp a lot and am looking for generator that can run the AC. Thanks, Chris

I don't really have an opinion on what is the best generator for your Micro Minnie, but I can tell you what works for us. We have a 13.5 Dometic Brisk Air II. We use a Honda EU2200i along with a MicroAir EasyStart 364 soft starter.

You didn't state the size of your air conditioner, but if you want to be sure to have enough power without the need to install a soft starter, I would suggest a 3600 watt inverter generator.

For a stock A/C you'll need about 2500w from a generator to run the system reliably. If you install an A/C soft start system on your A/C unit you could probably run it with a 2200 to 2300 watt genset.

When I had a TT I bought two of the Honda 2000 gensets and paralleled them when I wanted to run the A/C. With two gens I had a choice of taking just one when the weather was cooler or both when we expected high temps.

Honda just announced a 3200w portable that's quiet, full-featured and about 40 lbs lighter than older model 3000w generators. It's called the EU32i and it's fuel injected and super quiet, you can even monitor it with a phone App.
