Attach large mirror with double sided tape
The last two seasons my bathroom mirror was slowly sliding down after popping the bottom trim piece off. I removed it and it had 3 vertical strips of double sided tape holding it to the wall paper. I easily pulled it off the wall. The mirror was a little harder to remove. I bought my rv in 2017 and am the third owner of this 1996 Adventurer. So I am not sure if this was factory tape or not.
My question: Is this commonly used to hold a 2' x 3' mirror to a wallpapered wall? If so, what tape is recommended to withstand the heat when not used in the summer and the cold winters?

Our MH had a very large heavy mirror above the bed, attached with velcro tape. I fell and broke.
I used mirror clips to hang the replacement, it's still there 9 years later.
Even the so-called permanent tape must fail, because the adds say to wash it in water, allow to dry, then use it again.

I wouldn't trust double sided tape alone but would use some unobtrusive plastic mirror clips as suggested by Ray,IN. The best double sided tape to use is 3m's VHB (Very High Bond) tape. Don't worry about buying more than you need, you'll find a lot of uses for it. This isn't your garden-variety double sided tape:
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=3m+vhb&cr...f=nb_sb_noss_1
I used this one to mount a solar panel to the top of my Ford E350 van:

Even though it's industrial strength, it's fairly easy to remove like any double sided tape. I use an old guitar string to "saw" through it when it's tough to get to like behind a mirror. Otherwise, a thin putty knife works. Google "VHB tape removal" for how to remove the residue.

My bath mirror is held on by double stick tape attached to 2 steel strip brackets which are in turn screwed into framing from behind, so you lift the mirror upwards where it hooks over the screws in the framing. The double stick tape was failing on the top bracket but you could see where they had first attached it in the wrong place and moved it. When I re-attached it I used 3M double stick tape and it is solid. The lower one was still holding very strong after 10 years so I left it alone.
It's kind of hard to explain but the wall is open behind my mirror for access to the back of the sliding TV in the dinette, so the brackets are turned at 45 degree angles where they hook onto the screws which are driven into the sides of the framing. The brackets are 2" wide with 2 strips of tape on each one, more than enough to hold it permanently. Not sure I would trust it on wallpaper though.

Winnebago dealer replaced my mirror under warranty and when they took it off the wall it had some type of epoxy, the frame was custom cut and then new mirror was applied with same type of adhesive. May be worth calling WBGO to find out what they use.
Double sided tape would NOT work in my RV the way I drive

Regardless next time I see a Super C; I will be sure to stay way back and to the side until I can easily overtake him.

Use the double sided tape and put some blobs of silicone in between the tape will hold the mirror in place until the silicone dries ...it won't go anywhere
