Are all Winnebago's keyed the same?

Just curious, my Sunstar LX 27N has two keys, one that fits all the storage bays and the lower lock on the front door and one key for the deadbolt on the door. My storage bay key is #3047, what is your key numbered?

There are only a couple keys for the bay doors. However, the top lock key for the door is individual to the coach.

Yes, the little round Trimark keys come in just a very small number of combinations so that the RV Salesmen don't have to lug-around all of the individual keys. The deadbolts of the RVs in the sales lots are typically left unlocked.

I have a 3044. We only use the deadbolt key when locking the main door.

MY key is a 3048 and from all that I have read, Winnebago makes 10 different keys for the storage bays and the door bottom lock. They are all numbered from 3040 through 3049. Not a very secure system and it seems to me some after market company could make a great living selling replacement locks and keys that are more secure.

Someone already did. I had all of my compartment lock changed out and keyed alike to the door, so I now only need one key for everything.

I don't know when WB started doing 1 key fits all, except dead bolt, but that is what I have. One key fits all locks on the MH. If the engine is running and I need to get into a bay, the remote fob will not unlock so I can use that one key to lock and unlock. We never lock the deadbolt and it does have a separate key.

Nice touch Winnebago!

Perhaps the travel trailers are different. Our key (it's gray and different from the one attached earlier) works on the door, deadbolt, and both storage bays. This is very nice, unless there are only 10 keys out in the universe. The outdoor shower has its own key, though, which is silly, but we haven't been using it so it hasn't been bothering me.

I like the "one key fits all" on the towables. It's way down on my list, but someday I will replace the outdoor shower lock just to get rid of the extra key on the key ring. Bauer sells the lock and you provide them the specific key # for your trailer. It's only $10.
