I assume you are considering a gasser since there aren't many shorter DPs. You will likely need a portable step to help climb up to the door.

One thing to remember is a diesel motor home sets lower to the ground than a 5th wheel. Most gas motor homes will be as high as the 5th wheel. I think a diesel would drag with that drive.
