2022 Micro Minnie inside door handle

Just picked up my new 2022 Micro Minnie 2225RL the end of Nov last year. Absolutely love it - except when closing the door from the inside. Whoever designed the door handle obviously never tried to use it once installed. And this is coming from a guy with very small hands. I find it almost impossible to get my fingers between the handle and the surface of the door. Looking to replace it or even some kind of a handle on the inside where I can grab the door and pull it closed. I'm sure this same latch must be on all the new Micro Minnies out there? Sold my 2017 model late Aug and never had this issue.

I'll be curious to see if anyone else has picked up on this.

Ranger. I have the same model as you and I too think the handle is a bit small to close the door from the inside. I did install a screen door cross bar handle to help close.

I have a screen door crossbar as well, but unfortunately that doesn't help with the actual camper door. Not sure what Winnebago was thinking when they came up with this handle. Hate to start drilling into the door but may not have a choice. I can be careful but that doesn't count for guests that might grab the screen instead resulting in damage there.

Ranger,
On delivery, my door was difficult to close. So, in order to close the door with it latched to screen door, I had to disassemble the striker, and chisel ot the opening, then reassemble. It makes it easy enough to close the door using the screen door crossbar handle.

My door was also hard to close in the beginning. I moved the strike plate out more and greased the latch mechanism…..thanks for the reminder Marine!

Appreciate the tips guys. I'll give it a shot once the cover's off and the foot of snow is gone.
