2016 Era 70X Winterization-Valves Water Drain

Hello,
I'm in the process of winterizing for the first time after a recent camper van purchase.
I have identified the toggle hot water tank drain valve, but was not clear on 2 adjacent valves nearby.
Here are the 2 valves located under the rear bench/bench. It wasn't obvious what is the working position and the drainage position for winterizing.
Attached are some photos. Thanks very much for the help.

Is the other part of the value a hose that goes throught the floor and would empty to the ground. The reason I ask is to me just taking a stab in the dark is those are your low point drains. One would be for the hot water line the other for the cold water line.

If thats the case you would drain both lines, open up a faucet to allow the water to flow. Once the water has drained out of both lines close the values. At some point in you winterization process you will need to open the value (short second) to allow the pink stuff to flow throught the value.

Hope I was correct on the lines Good Luck

2016 Era 70X Winterization-Valves Water Drain

Thanks very much for the reply!

Yes, the other portions of the cold & hot hoses that go through the floor, I believe empty to the ground or possibly into the fresh water holding tank that also has a drainage valve to the ground.

The handles on these cold & hot floor hoses indicate ON/OFF directional positions, that I think correspond to:
ON-opens drain line,
OFF-closes drain line, but would like to confirm.

Thanks again for your help.

I would say yes to your on/off position.

Valves

I own the same van. Those valves are your low drain points and exit to the ground under the van. The valves are open when the handle is inline with the pipe and closed when it is across the pipe.
