2013 Itasca Meridian 34b remote entry issues

We have a 2013 Meridian 34b. Either of our fobs will remotely open the door. We have had intermittent issues but now it is a total failure. Have changed the batteries in the remotes and that did not fix things.

Have read a couple things on here about relays and door contacts but not sure where or how to diagnose.

Anyone have any thoughts?
Thanks

Did some more trouble shooting. Found the receiver. Under the drivers side dash. Remote will work if next to the receiver. Wondering if my fobs are just getting old?

I'd get another pair of batteries to try before anything else.

The contacts are on the frame of the door. Use a pencil eraser and clean them up and see if that helps.

Tried new batteries. Also cleaned the contacts. Did not make a difference.

Anyone else experiencing similar?

Check to see if the door contacts need adjusting. They tend to self adjust due to vibration. If any of them seem to be shorter than the others, remove the switch and adjust them out to make better contact. I actually had to shim the jamb switch out with washers to ensure better contact with the door contacts.

Thanks for all the comments and help. I have looked at the door contacts, and cleaned them. The lock button on the consul beside the passenger seat opens and closes the door just fine, and the lock button on dash under the radio works fine, so pretty sure it is not an issue with the door locks.

Any other thoughts, ideas?
