Hi all,
I had mentioned early on the BIG issue was the front slide.....
The jump bar for the front slide which has screws that tie it to floor of the RV (not the slide) had come out of some rotten plywood. This has been fixed for a cost of a little over $3000. I was expecting $5-7 thousand so this was a huge relief -
Kudos to Channelview RV Supply in Channelview TX - the guys there are first class, professional and do really journeyman work....I cannot say enough good about them. If you are in the Houston area and have concerns about going to one of the big repair places (Camping World, etc) then I highly recommend these guys.
The slide works great now.
We are doing some remodeling work now - painting the interior, new seating and dinette, addition of a popup TV and cabinet, new lighting.
The next step is to take it into Cummins Coach Care here in Houston for the 50,000 mile service.
I will keep you posted on the events as they transpire.
Just wanted to say thanks for all the kind advice I have received from this forum.....
Cheers
Dennis
