2004 Itasca Meridian 34H - Throttle Position Sensor

ScanGaugeD shows a range of 0-65 for the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). I might expect 0-63, or 0-128, or perhaps 0-100 but it is 0-65. Sometimes a count or two higher (I can't watch it continuously).

Meanwhile, I have an engine which according to the ScanGaugeD data display from the ECM is reporting about 166hp. About half the rated output of the Cat 7.

So I am trying to make sure that my TPS is not a source of this lower power. Does anyone know what the proper range of the TPS sensor is?

The engine is a Cat C 7, rated 330 hp, in a 2004 Itasca Meridian 34H.

The TPS should test with a smooth increase from idle to WOT and back to idle when tested with a VOM. The actual numbers are not all-important.
Are your shift points (RPM) where they are supposed to be when accelerating at WOT from a standstill?

Actually, in my case, I believe the numbers are important.

I am still looking for the range of the sensor, as reported by the ECM, for reasons posted in the original post.

Thanks for responding.
