We're in Florida for January and February 2005 and wondering if there are any Winnebago
(WIT?) rallies or gatherings this winter in an area we could attend? We're on a 10 month-long journey and would like to try a rally or other gathering? Would be great to be with other Winnebagos. Anything going on at the spring FMCA rally in Perry Georgia?

The Florida State Rally runs in March - I think that it is on March 17 - 22 (17 and 18 are extra days). I believe that there is also an FMCA rally in March in Georgia. You might want to check with their website or a member.

There is an FMCA rally the first of Feb off route 50 in FL. Check the magazine, I've forgotten the name of the town. Maybe an hour from Orlando.

Thanks for the good tip, we're registered! The WIT rally is too late for us, we have to be in California by the end of April, and plan to use March and April to go up to Massachusetts and then across, but the FMCA rally sounds like fun, and we'll be there. Hope there will be a chance to meet other Winnebago owners. This will be our first rally.

Thanks to all who mentioned the FMCA rally in Brooksville. We spent the past week there and learned lots and had much fun! It was our first rally, but will not be our last. Any other good ones (maybe a little smaller) coming up between now and the Perry GA rally? Doesn't have to be FMCA, but that was a well run event!

Check out the Florida region on this site. The Florida Boomers are having a rally 10-13 Feb. at Rock Crusher Canyon in Crystal River,Fl.
