We have a 38G Adventurer which we love and I have a question about washer/dryer use. Is there any info on operating the washer without the sewer hose being hooked up? Just one load would be the limit we'd do but can't find any capacity for water amounts with the book. I'm sure water goes to the gray tank and now that we have our gauges working again we can monitor the levels. Any ideas out there?

FloridaTraveler, welcome to the forum.com!!

Are you talking about a Splendide 2000? That's what we have. I have not done a dry tank/dump after measurement test but my belief is it uses between 12 and 15 gallons of water per load depending on the cycle/options.

P.S. I suggest you make up a signature file that includes some specifics about your coach.

I think Jon is right, maybe even a little conservative on his estimate. I'd certainly do a few loads with an empty tank to try to figure it out.

You could run it off your full water tank then measure how much water you have to put in to fill it.

How much water it uses depends on the settings. Jane has done a load of clothes while on the tank and from a gray tank that was somewhere 1/3+ full, we went to 2/3+ full.

I agree with Jon's perspective.

We use the "Express" setting and can get three loads done starting with an empty tank and not be full to the top.

I believe it's 16 gallons. I would call Splendide's Customer Service just to make sure.

Good luck.

We have 60 gallon gray water tanks and when using the washer once we can still go two or three days with showers every day before we need to dump the gray tank. The stock level indicators are worthless for any measurement purposes.

WOW - you all are great - we really appreciate the info! We plan to go to GNR at Forest City and want to avoid the laundromat in town and wondered if we can get just one load done in the RV just before the honey wagon comes. Most things we can do by hand but we were curious about the W/D capacities. We've been to the town laundromat and it was REALLY busy and hot! THANKS AGAIN!
