Roof A/C Filters

Where are the filters for a roof A/C on a 2003 Sightseer?
A Friend says his a/c doesn't have filters. I can't believe an a/c doesn't have filters someplace.
Thank You.

One of 2 places. It is either a small foam element in the return air vent or if you have the big AC grille it is right under the removable grille face.

Winnebago usually has the HVAC distributed in the ceiling. You should have round vents there. One side has movable vents and the other fixed. Push the tab on the fixed vent and pull it out. There should be a filter in it. This is washable.

I’ve got an 08 Sunova, the sibling to the Sighsteer line. On mine, you remove the large square intake grill in the ceiling. Filters are in there, easy to pull, wash and replace.

If they are so bad you can’t clean or aren’t there for some reason, they are avail online at many sites for between $10 and $15.
