Refrigerator at High altitude

I’m hoping to get some useful advice about my refrigerator working at high altitudes. I’m leaving 8-8-19 for Leadville, CO. Stay a few days at a campground with no electric. Having read many posts about refrigerators not working while boondocking at higher altitudes, I am concerned and cautiously optimistic that ours will work. It’s brand new. But altitude doesn’t discriminate. Any suggestions or advice??

We've just come back from a trip and stayed several days about ten K feet without much trouble. I find little difference running on propane from the altitude but then there are other factors that do bother me more. If we have good pressure in the propane tank, we have never noted any problem with the small burner in the frig as heat is heat and it doesn't care whether that comes from propane or electric.
But that is not to say there are no problems with mountain use as there is often a second factor beside the altitude. You also get lots of wind, at times and that increase in wind CAN make you scratch your head if not really up on how the unit works. Knowing how and when to expect the furnace, water heater, or frig to do the steps they take to light and continue to burn will be a really fine thing -- if you happen to have one that acts "funny".
If you are having a wind problem and know what to expect from each item, it will be much easier to sort out a solution. When camping up on a pass and the water heater would not stay lit, it was simple to just place a shield of aluminum foil so that the wind did not blow directly into things!
So one way to avoid big questions is to ask the small ones before you hit the road. Turn each item on and listen for what each does as they will each have a specific chain of events that are required before they work right. So much simpler to light each, sort out what it does correctly when at home and they all work right, than to get to someplace where you do have questions and then try to sort out "right" when things like wind may be killing the whole program.
I have written notes with each manual for each appliance, just to remind me of the small points.
Just knowing how long and how many times things will try to relight before going into lockdown can sure ease the trip. You may never need to read the notes again but just having them seems to warn the "gremlins" to stay away from your site!
I'm afraid that there are lots of confused folks out there who simply do not understand how the frig, water heater, or furnace works and when it doesn't they look for the first handy excuse and may never find the true cause.
