Need Help from Itasca Ellipse 40FD Owners

I've been trying to help the owner of an Itasca Ellipse 40FD owner with a basement air conditioning problem, but I'm out of my depth since I know nothing about the Ellipse.

He's mentioning an A/C fan on the drivers side rear that I don't have on my Itasca 35U. I'm thinking that it has nothing to do with the air conditioning (engine compartment ventilation?) but I could be wrong.

If you can help, please respond to his original thread so we have continuity:

Thank you, RHW, for your help. You hit the nail on the head. I can now breathe easy knowing I do NOT have an a/c problem after all.
