Hooking up an external propane tank
Hello,
I owned my first RV for 14 years. I live in Vermont and the Winters up here just seem to really take a toll on RVs. I just got a Winnebago Vista 29VE. My idea, to make sure this is the last RV I ever buy, was to disconnect it from the propane take and hook it up to an outside large propane take so that I could set the furnace to say 49 degrees for the winter. This would keep the exterior from freezing in the winter and the idea is that it would lengthen the life of the interior. Just wondering if this would be a good idea or is it just plain crazy?
