GE fridge in 2022 2100bh micro minnie

I just bought a 2100BH this weekend and went to test the fridge in it. It’s a GPV10FSNBSB model 12v electric only. As best I can tell from searching on the internet and reading all the books that came with the trailer, it has a compressor and uses r134, rather than an ammonia system.

It doesn’t get cool at all.

Let it run overnight, made sure it was level (but shouldn’t matter with r134?), and made sure the knob was set to cold. The light inside is getting power, but the compressor never kicks on.

Is there some other switch somewhere that I should be turning on or checking to get the fridge cool?

Hi B0B,
I took a look at your owner's manual, and the only thing is perhaps the problem is the control knob isn't calibrated correctly. Assuming you tried the <COLDEST> setting, it sure looks like you have a faulty refrigerator. I hope your dealership isn't too far away. Give them a call in the morning, and good luck with the repair or replacement.
Welcome to the forum.

Thank you. I’m afraid you are right. I tried disconnecting the power for a while too based on some advice in a thread on a similar model, and no luck. I was hoping there was some switch somewhere that I couldn’t find.

Was your camper plugged in to shore power or were you just running off the battery? If from battery, maybe the battery is too low to run the compressor but ok for the light?

I tried it on the battery over night. The solar charger said the battery was full, so did the level indicator on the panel inside. I tried it briefly on shore power, but I never heard the compressor kick on.
