My first thought was the sail switch too. Out of propane?

nope 3/4. Normally if propane is empty the ignitor still clicks all I get is fan comes on for 20 seconds then shuts off

Possible it’s the control board. They can get wet. I keep a spare one just for that. You may try taking a hair dryer and drying it.

My furnace did this on a long trip last spring. I couldn’t find a cause and took the RV to the independent repair shop I use to fix it. It turned out to be the control board failed. It works fine now.

If it's not the limiter switch that will be next. Thanks

The limit switch is an easy check. Just check continuity from one side to the other. I believe if your fan is running the switch is ok.

Mr Buddy
We use a Mr Buddy heater to avoid running our batteries down when we need heat while boondocking. Or you can use any other catalytic heater to do the same.

As many others have mentioned, your control board is the likely culprit. If it gets wet, it fries rather easily.

Great, just be mindful that it can also be as simple as the battery getting too low to spark the igniter well enough or the flame sensor not clean enough to provide confirmation of a flame being present. On many the igniter also is the flame sensor.

I have a 2008 24' Winnie on the sprinter frame. Same problem, fan comes on for 30 seconds, no heat, then fan turns off. Full tank of propane. Are there any videos on where the sail switch and limit switch are located? I gather the furnace is accessed from the rear of the unit? Slides out? Again, video would help. Just want to try simple stuff first, then go to a repair guy. Any help much appreciated.
