Disable Air Conditioner Selector Switch

Hello. I have a '91 Windcrusier with the 2nd roof air and selector switch. I was wondering has anyone tired to disable the switch and install those soft starters so they can both run on shore power?

Currently (as some of you may know) in order to run both A/C's I must run the generator. I don't want to do that any more.
