Dash A/C Inop on 07 Itasca Ellipse 40KD
Gauge tested Dash A/C pressure on high and low sides with no pressure reading (leak). Ran vacuum pump for 30 mins. closed valves, shutdown pump and monitored gauges. Low side showed low pressure degradation (leak back), thus confirming no need to add R134a at this time. Time for surgery. This is where I need the experts familiar with this RV. A cursory review of access points to the compressor (on CAT engine) and the connection points at the back reveals only one plausible access point and that is from inside and tearing the bed out, then flooring. Am I missing anything? Any feed back, I would be grateful.
Thanks,
Steve
