Can you put a second a/c here?

This is a 28rbds instinct travel trailer. It has 50 amp service but is not prewired for a second a/c. These pics are of the standard 14x14 vent above the bedroom. We have been thinking about adding a second a/c here. My concern is the slope or angle of the roof. I’m also concerned about the back of the unit sticking up; i.e., there not being enough roof for the back of the a/c’s base without sticking up in the air. I am thinking most units are around 28-30” long.

Thoughts?

Hmmm... Well I’ve been doing a little googling. I looked at some PDFs for Coleman and Dometic a/c’s. It appears to me that you can mount them with either side or the front tilting up to 15 degrees. But you can’t have the front tilting down, which is what my pictures show. The Coleman instructions are clearest on this point and show a shim you can make. Here’s a screenshot of the page.

Anyone dealt with something like this?

So i took it to our local rv repair shop. The owner did not think the angle was an issue as he has installed a number at that angle on 5th wheels with the front slanted roof. I’ve noticed three 5th wheels with the front ac tilted forward since I opened this thread. So he ordered me a 15k Atwood with heat pump for the front. (This will be the 1st Atwood he has done at that angle). When my main dometic brisk 2 dies, I’ll probably put an Atwood there too.

The problem with these 27rbds and 28rbds campers and a front ac is going to be that the ceiling unit is going to be real close fitting up to the bedroom wall. He said the Atwood should fit.
