Atwood GCH10A-3E 120V Thermostat / ECO replacement

There is a problem with 02 and earlier Atwood GCH10A-3E 120V Thermostat / ECO in the 02-Winnebago Adventurer. If the ECO trips from overheating you have to pull the whole unit out to reset the ECO.

Has ANYONE found a mod or work around for this problem?
