A/C Wiring identification 2004 Meridian

I have a 2004 Winnebago Meridian Diesel with 6537 basement AC. I had the OD motor changed out and removed the unit from the coach and cleaned it while I waited on the parts. When putting the thermostat wire back in the AC control board there was two wires Orange/Black and White/Black with connectors on them. I wrote down the Orange/Black wire went to the orange wire hanging loose in the control box. The white wire went to the control board to a terminal marked Orange compressor 2. I wanted to check with you guys to make sure this is right. It does not show up on any schematic I have. I also see some pictures on here of these two wires not being connected. Thanks in advance for the peer check.

I think the thermostat was changed out at some time. The original thermostat had 4 wires but the replacement had 5 wires. I ran across that when I changed mine out a few years ago. If you are interested in the function you can download the manual from Airxcel.

Wiring help

This may help. I’ll look to see if I can find a picture of my unit.
