2021 Minnie 2801BHS Dometic Fridge 42 degrees

2021 minnie 2801bhs with Dominic refrigerator only going down to 42 degrees on electric is this normal?

Hi Joe,
Mine is always very nice & cold, and it seems to work equally well on either propane or 120 VAC.
Can you turn-down the temperature on the control panel? How hot is it there in central California? Is it adequately cold using the Propane setting?

its been like this since i bought it. On 120 it wont cool right and the temperature control is a little slide on the side of fin kinda stupid way of doing things.

It sounds like you are describing the thermocouple rather than the thermostat. Are you speaking of a small gizmo inside the box, on the fins in back?

Have you found which model number frig you have or looked for info in the online manuals?
