2002 Winnebago Journey Dash Heater Not Blowing Warm Air
I need some suggestions. Dash heater not blowing warm air. Just purchased unit so haven't really used A/C or heater. Is there a air control valve that diverts the air flow? Air temp does not seem to change at all when adjusting control on dash. Do you have any suggestions. Thanks
Two things to look at are water flow through the heater coil and that can be a stuck valve in the heater hose. Pretty easy to spot this valve on some as a big knot in the line with a control running to it. With a warm engine and the control on hot, you should be able to feel the temperature difference on each side of this valve!
The other option that I might guess if more likely is that the control flaps are run by vaccuum lines which get brittle and break or fall off at different points.
Sometimes finding a line and putting a finger over the end can tell you if there is one totally leaking someplace as there is not enough vacuum to feel it suck on your finger. If one is brittle enough to break, look at replacing most of them to avoid future trouble.

I currently DO NOT have one!
Richard: Thanks for the quick response. Your suggestions are the same way I was leading. Your confirmation greatly helps before I waste a lot of time chasing a ghost. Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't all of your suggested components usually up front some where? My unit is a diesel pusher so all of the hot water is probably plumbed up front to the heater core and plenums? Thanks for your help
When I got it my CA coach, there were 2 shut off valves on the engine that were closed.
Crawl under and look for them, mine had yellow handles. Just follow the heater hoses to locate. One was right at the block the other was on the driver side frame rail.

We just purchased our 2002 Journey DL a month ago and noticed the same issue. I did find a heater breaker in the fuse/relay panel, above the generator, had a 20A breaker rather than a 30A. I've replaced but didn't have time to test. Will be checking on the same items that the other owners replied with. Good luck!! We've already taken ours out on it's maiden voyage/shake-down and are pleased with the rig.
As mentioned earlier .
There are two hoses going to the front of the coach . On my 05 Journey . There are two yellow valves . . Mounted on the Driver side frame rail . Near the engine . This allows warm coolant to get to the front and make Heat . Some people close them in the warm weather to aid in the dash A/C performance .
