I have noticed the design of the rack above the burners on the stove the Navion uses can make it hard to balance small bottomed pots like my teapot or a small pan or even just to slide a pan around when cooking. Has anyone found a good way to increase the rack surface area like attaching a replacement BBQ rack cut down to fit ?

Steve: We use an Ilsa 8880 Gas Ring Reducer, 5-inch, Cast Iron, Black (exact name on Amazon) to provide more "bottom space" for pots, pans, and expresso pot. Works great on the small burner. You can find it for $10.00 on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Will try to upload a photo or two if I can figure out how to do that on this website. Cheers!
Might be better to find a different pots/tea kettles. Smaller bottoms would make the units less efficient and require the use of more propane and result in more CO in a relatively small space.
SteveD49 and Goodspike,
Looks like that might work for me, Been carting that teapot around 20+ years hate to give it up but will replace one of the other pans, was going to search Amazon to start with but was not sure what to call it. The RV is for the dogs, I just drive it
Thanks

If you look on the Amazon product page, there are links to other similar products. But this one works fine for us. We also us it on a portable Coleman propane stove when we cook outside. Safe travels!

Hi Steve,
We don’t have that issue, but we still use a diffuser like this one. That might also work for you, and it has a double purpose for low heat simmering...
