Yikes! Missing Fan Cap on roof

We camped near the Gulf of Mexico last week. Had a wonderful time. So, since we returned I've been doing some serious exterior cleaning to remove salt from the exterior.

Today I went up to the roof and to my surprise the rear bathroom vent cover - Winnegabo calls it a "Mushroom Cap" was totally missing. If there had been rain it would have simply dumped water into the RV in storage.

I did some quick WBGO Parts research and the WBGO part number is: 185028-01-CHT. That turned up few places selling it. But I did find that it's OEM supplier is "Trusty Products" in Indiana. They don't sell direct so the best place I found was BJ's RV and Marine online parts store. It seems it's a Keystone RV part as well.

https://www.rvandmarine.com/product-...arts-products/

These caps have a threaded "nut" in the center of the cap and they screw on. The fan is sold with the cap for about $15 but BJ's sells the cap by itself for $5. I ordered two just to be prepared.

I'll attach a photo of the product - though mine is black - of the fan and the cap.

CHECK YOUR ROOF folks after every trip. I didn't hit anything it looks to have just spun in the wind and unscrewed. Lucky I caught it or disaster!

Here's some photos from the roof.

I don't think all Winnebago RVs have these vents. Unlike many RVs that have traditional large-sized 14" square vents in their bathrooms, my Adventurer and I'd assume Forza, Journey, Tour, Grand Tour, Meridian, Ellipse and other WBGO Class A's might have this style. The vent is a small exhaust fan in the ceiling in the bathroom(s) about 6" by 6" in size.

Here are two photos - one shows my half-bath vent with it's cover on and the other my master bath vent with the cover missing.

We lost our cap like that shortly after buying our 2018 View 24D ... was still on warranty so WGO kindly sent out a new one.

On our View, this vent fan is on the ceiling just above the microwave. It’s white.
